Vote buying: RM300 for 'transport allowance'

Voters who had travelled from other places to cast their ballots in the Manek Urai by-election in Kelantan received 'transport allowance' from a group of unidentified individuals.br br This morning, scores of people were seen queuing up outside a wooden house located in the vicinity of the South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar) building, some 50 metres from the SK Peria polling centre.br br They submitted their identity cards to 'officials' - who called out names from a list - stationed at the front door in return for the cash.br br Full story here.
