Heads of state from around the world continue to address the 70th UN General Assembly in New York. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is slated to speak in a few hours. Strong differences were registered over Syria, with Russian President Vladimir Putin defending Syrian President Bashar al-Asad and Barack Obama characterizing him as a tyrant.
