Read on to find out why… br With his comic stints as host on India’s Got Talent, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Science of Stupid, Manish Paul has managed to make his way into people’s hearts. It is next to impossible to imagine such a sweet and fun-loving person committing a crime that would land him in jail, right? But alas! It has happened… not quite like you are thinking though! br br In his upcoming film, Ranbanka, Manish’s character will be arrested and incarcerated mistakenly for a crime he never committed. So to prepare for his role, Manish decided to pay a visit to an actual Police station, since he had seen a jail only in films before. The actor wanted to get a hang of the place and understand how thing worked. He even interacted with the prisoners to get their side of the story. br br Talking about his experience, the actor told DNA, “The conditions are really bad there. There are no fans or lights and the toilets are inside. I felt their pain and told them they should think about their kids and families and desist from committing crimes,” he says. The sequence he shot has him being arrested and incarcerated by mistake. “For the first time, I saw handcuffs, how they are chained, etc.The cops were very helpful.” br br The actor even took a selfie with the inmates there and had posted it on his twitter account a few days back saying, “My first selfie wt real prisoner in mathura jail … shooting.
