Nikon 40mm f/2.8G Micro lens review: Good for pictures, not for excel

Watch the unboxing br Find out if 5GHz wifi is really faster than 2.4GHz wifi br br br Social br | br br The Nikon 40mm f2.8G lens is a true macro, offering a 1:1 scale at its closest focus setting, but it also serves as a solid prime lens. Although the same can't be said for the build quality. Compatible with all Nikon DX DSLRs which includes, but is not limited to: Nikon D5500, D3300, D5300, D7100, D5200, D3200, D7000, D300S and D90. br br (5:13) For you who are too lazy to watch, here's the breakdown: br + this lens offers a really good one to one macro scale, br + its 40mm focal length is versatile as it's midway between 35 and 50 br + it's at a great price br + it has a good f stop range, from f2.8 to f22. br However, br x it's not suitable for you moving macro photographers as br the wide focal length requires you to get quite close to your subject br x the focal length can feel like a compromise at times br x the build is rather cheap br br Overall I think this is a really good lens for someone looking into macro for the first time. br br Other channels br | br br Websites br br br Credits br Webpage shown at 1:07 br Music from br Video produced and owned by Dominic J.
