Haiti will hold presidential elections on Sunday with voters choosing between 54 candidates. All polls indicate that Swiss-educated mechanical engineer Jude Celestin will win. In his campaign Celestin emphasized education, political stability, and an amnesty pact to "wipe the slate clean". A run-off between the top two candidates will be held December 27.
