Over the weekend, Fukuoka prefecture hosted the best mini-basketball teams in the prefecture (elementary school kids). This is the very end of the game between Momochi (in white), and Wajiro Higashi (black). Heading into the FTs from Momochi, the score is Momochi down by 1: 45-46, and there’s less than 3 seconds left on the clock… what unfolds is simply amazing. Momochi’s elated, as the first free throw equalizes – the second puts them a point ahead, seemingly with no time to get a play at a shot for Wajiro Higashi. br br BUT… the inbounds pass goes to their captain (number 4), who hits a full-court buzzerbeater.
