Ne aksin kombëtar Kalimash-Morine ne Kukes, nje nate me pare, ndodhi nje aksident tragjik, ku pas perplasjes se nje kamioni me nje fouristrade humben jeten tre persona, ndersa mbeten te plagosur rende 2 te tjere. Qe prej mbremjes se te henes kjo pjese e autostrades, nga vendi i ngjarjes deri ne Kukes eshte e kalueshme vetem ne nje drejtim, gje qe ka krijuar vështirësi te shumta ne qarkullimin e mjeteve te tjera. Aksidenti i rende ndodhi mbremjen e te henes rreth 4 km larg Kukesit, kur kamioni i drejtuar nga Ilmi Pira, i cili humbi jeten, humbi kontrollin dhe doli ne korsine tjeter duke demtuar rende edhe trafikndareset. Kamioni u perplas me fuoristraden qe udhetonte ne anen e kundërt, duke i shkaktuar vdekjen e menjershme Mirjan Dodes dhe Lek Markgjonit.
