An amazing concert took place in Salzau, Germany this summer, featuring vibes giant Bobby Hutcherson, with a career br br spanning for five decades, rightfully hailed as the Milt Jackson heir and his Organic Vibes quintet consisting of br br Hammond wizard Joey DeFrancesco, long-time Oscar Peterson cohort Ulf Uakenius, Ron Blake and Myron Walden on tenor br br and alto saxes respectively and Byron Landham on drums in set a so swinging that northern Germany almost merged with Denmark that night!
