Vadodara : A major controversy was raked up following allegations of Six candidates of BJP and Congress, giving cash to participants on a pilgrimage by foot to Ranuja. Election officials tried to verify the reports but were unable to do so immediately. br Congress candidate and former opposition leader Chirag Zaveri and his BJP rival Kalpesh Patel allegedly distributed cash at a temple in Manjalpur to members of a group that was leaving on the pilgrimage referred to as a 'sangh'. A video recording of them doing so was also made.
