Surat : The craze for fancy and auspicious numbers among vehicle owners fetched a revenue of Rs 5.34 crore to the Surat Regional Transport Office. There are a beeline for vehicle registration numbers of one's choice. The transport office charges extra for the special numbers and many people are willing to pay the premium for the fancy number or a number they believe is auspicious for them.
