Jamnagar: In a major move by Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rs 10,000cr has been allotted for restoration of its solarium tower. It is Asia’s only solarium tower which has remained closed for years. Now, JMC has approved funds for its restoration. Initially, it was built under the patronage of Jam Shri Ranjitsinghji, who brought a professional architect from France. It is expected to boost medical tourism once it is restored.
