Ileana D'Cruz was born on 1st November 1987 in Mumbai. She is an Indian model turned actress. She is the daughter of Ronaldo and Samira. She is the second of four children. She has an elder sister Farrah. She also has a younger brother named Rhys and a younger sister named Eileen.

Ileana started her career in the Telugu film industry with the film Devadasu. Her charm won over the masses and she became a household name instantly. She later on featured in many other films such as Pokiri, Jalsa, Kick and Julayi.

She has won numerous awards such as Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South for Devadasu. She has also won the Santosham Best Actress Award for Jalsa in the year 2008.

After tasting success and becoming the most sought after actress in Telugu cinema, she progressed in search of greener pastures in the glamorous world of Bollywood. In the year 2012 she debuted in her first movie Barfi! starring opposite chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor. Here too her acting skills have been appreciated.
