NYS&W SU-99 goes through crossing with strobe lights

This video was shot at the Hamburg Turnpike grade crossing in West Milford, New JerseybrThis is my 3 trip back to this crossing and nothing much has changed, execpt for the mast signal facing me, its strobe lights were replaced with newer red strobes, the old ones were white and didnt work too well.br*History note*: Back in the 1970s, this crossing had a wigwag. These signals were installed in 1986 when this section of the line was rebuilt following a washout during a storm. The wig-wag was replaced.brCrossing Info:brMast Signal on Right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12X24 inch lights. 1 pair of WC Hayes 8 inch strobe lights. brThere is also 1 unknown light which displays the words Stop Here when the signal are active.brCantilever Signal on Left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a Safetran mechanical bell.brCantilever Signal on Left (across tracks): 5 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights. 1 Pair of WC Hayes 8 inch strobe lights, and a Safetran Mechanical Bell.brThe reason why this crossing has strobe lights is because, there used to be trees that blocked the view of the crossing. Then the trees were cut down, but the railroad never removed the lightsbrEnjoy!brSpecial thanks to my railfanning buddy Kyle for joining me at this crossing.brTM & Copyright ©2015 by Freedomtowerman Productions®brAll Rights Reserved.
