GDP figures showing China’s economy grew at 6.8 percent in the final quarter of 2015 indicate a worrying downward trend, says an analyst on Tuesday. ‘It does herald a very severe slowdown in the Chinese economy’, said Enzio Von Pfeil, an investment strategist at Private Capital Limited in Hong Kong.
