This talk was delivered by Venkat Subramaniam, an award winning author and Founder of Agile Developer Inc on becoming a Polyglot programmer. He further says that there are more than 200 languages on JVM and a polyglot programmer knows exactly which language is helpful in achieving a particular goal.
