so alex and i go way back. to when he was skateboarding. not as far back as renee and some other people. but...pretty far.br br anyway. i've always admire his music whether it's with other artists or by himself..he seems to create a visual in the listeners mind. and with each endevour (sp) he explores musical textures, making us reflect within ourselves.br br so whenever we meet up we talk about one thing. music. film..movie...art..life.. it's pretty dope. i'll tell him what going on in nyc, and he tells me what's going on in greensboro and he lets me listen to what he's working on from time to time. and it's dope because ....it's alex. anyway he gave me a couple of his cd's and mentioned, if i could take footage then that would be great. so i took the camera out from school and hoped on the G train towards coney island and just tapped... parts of it work and some don't yet they all seems to work in some weird way. i later asked him what was the song about. Alex mentioned Construction and manufacturing and technology.....machine...so it's fitting.
