Dame Shirley Bassey and Lara Fabian! In my opinion, these two vocalists were the highlight of Mekhail Gorbachev's 80th Birthday Celebration, which was held on March 30, 2011. These two ladies are separated by more than a generation, and they each possess different singing styles, vocal pitch, vibrato, and timber. But, what they have in common is talent to the extreme! The voices that these two ladies have come around once every few decades or so, at best!

Mikhail Gorbachev is one of the few people who can justify the label 'The man who changed the world'.

In March 2011, he will turn 80. Outstanding representatives of the world of culture, science, sport, entertainment and politics from around the globe will join together at the Royal Albert Hall 2011 to celebrate the life of the Nobel Peace Prize winner and transformational 20th Century figure.
