Many years ago, I would see the Powerpuff Girls in promos on ToonamiCartoon Network and pass it off as a show for little 5 year old girls. Then one day I didnt reach the remote fast enough and started watching the opening. I was intrigued and continued to watch the episode, immediately hooked. A similar instance happened for Dragonball Z, several months prior. Previously I always thought: isnt that a show for boys about beating people up? Well. Yes. but it also was about friends, family, and showing mercy & strength. Watching these two cartoons side by side showed me that they werent really all that different. The styles were drastically different, but at the core they were the same. Beat up the bad guys, save the day! \rbr\rbrAnd the opening to one of them matches really well with the other.
