Barbie stars as Kara, who turns into a superhero called Super Sparkle after she is kissed by a Sparkle Bug. Super Sparkle does her superhero duties and defeats the bad guys. Barbies cousin Corrine is jealous of Super Sparkle and decides to find Sparkle Bug and get her Princess Power to make her a superhero too. Now Corrine is Dark Sparkle and wants to fight Super Sparkle. And now Dark Sparkle is getting in Super Sparkles way of rescuing people. Meanwhile, Baron Von Ravensdale has an evil plan to take over the town of Windemere. Dark Sparkle tries to stop him, but ends up helping him. She needs Super Sparkle to rescue her in this mini movie.\r
