DESCRIPTION:
The movie will begin centered on two characters played by Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, who work together to pen a book saying that ghosts actually exist among us. Upon its release, the piece doesn't really get any attention - but that changes a few years later. After Wiig's character manages to land a teaching job at Columbia University, her work on the book is discovered and she is "laughed out of academia." It's at this point that she reunites with her former best friend as well as two other would-be Ghostbusters (Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones), and all together they find themselves embarking on a scary, fun adventure.
