Eight firefighters were injured when a portion of a house collapsed on them while fighting a fire in Germantown, Maryland, on Monday, March 14. Local reports said the firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries, one in serious condition, and all were taken to the hospital. Three families — 20 people plus pets — were displaced because of the multiple-alarmed fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
