Seattle-based biotech company Dangerous Things presented their RFID microchip hand implant at the CeBIT technology trade fair in Hannover on Monday. The chip is implanted between the thumb and index finger, giving the user the ability to unlock smartphones and even their own front door. Implantable technology is rapidly gaining ground and promising users dozens of benefits, especially the ability to always keep one's identity 'on hand'.
