They initially wanted to purchase Sony's half (in which the combined halves would ultimately make the estate billions of dollars), but they decided to take the quick route and look at the immediate dollars, and not the overall value. The full catalog belonging to Michael (again)- in spirit- would have been a major coup against Sony. But No- the executors had to go and disrespect him again. br br On a more positive note, the vinyl version of Unbreakable is amazing.
