In avoiding failure— most of us accidentally avoid success. br br We're scared of pursuing the things we are truly passionate about because there's the possibility of failure. Most people don't want to put themselves out there, only to learn that they're not capable of ding the thing they love. So it's easier to not try, and just BELIEVE success is possible if the really want it. br br Like we avoid pursing the things we want because it preserve the illusion of having that thing available to us in the first place. br br You see this fear in the general population where people choose comfort over risk. But it's also a problem that a lot of entrepreneurs face. br br A creative entrepreneur will put a lot of effort into the product design, the website, or promotional assets— but then they avoid stuff like 'financing' or 'operations management'. Which is really the business side of business. br br Eventually the self-sabotage. Where they come up with "logical" excuses to quit the business. When it actuality, they are just subconsciously avoiding the opportunity to fail. br br The solution is to redefine what failure it. br br Failure is socially constructed. When you were a kid learning to walk and talk, you messed up constantly. It was just a part of the process. It wasn't until growing up, and experiencing criticism that you became self-conscious of failure. br br So realize that failure is going to be there with or without you.
