"The Invisible Man" by MONOLITH ORCHESTRA. br An homage to Claude Rains and the fantastic film "The Invisible Man". Music: ©2016 Monolith Music Publishing BMI. br Because no singer was available at the time of recording, I decided to post the song lyrics with a whistling melody line; ala X-Files. This is NOT a karoke video, however, you can sing along with it. br br ***The Universal Pictures 1930's logo and Claude Rains' voiceover br are ©1933 Universal Pictures. All rights reserved. br **Photos: google public domain. br **Special thanks to Universal Pictures for allowing the use of their copyrighted material. This composition would not have been possible without it. br br **Claude Rains (William Claude Rains) br Born: 10 November 1889 Died: 30 May 1967 (aged 77). br A remarkable actor who also appeared in Casablanca and many other films. br In "The Invisible Man", Claude's face did not appear until the final scene of the film. However, his linguistic training as well as his raw power and emotion can clearly be heard during the course of the film. It's hard to imagine that he suffered from a very heavy Cockney accent; removed by the above mentioned training. br I was and still am a huge fan of the Universal monster films; especially Dracula, the Frankenstein series and the Wolfman. I saw "The Invisible Man" film for the first time, last month. I began to compose a musical piece called The Invisible Man in 2014, but it sat around for 2 years. Then, after seeing the film and having nothing to do, I thought to resurrect the music idea. It wasn't until I started to add the Claude Rains voiceover parts, that I realized just how great an actor he was. This is now one of my favorite films, as well as musical compositions that I have written.
