pThe whale watchers at Sanctuary Cruises reported an “almost unprecedented” run of daily orca sightings in April 2016. Michael Sack, co-owner of Sanctuary Cruises, told Storyful that the orcas are usually waiting to ambush gray whale mother-and-calf pairs. This video shows a pod of an estimated 1,000 dolphins fleeing from an ambush after the orcas made quick work of one of their companions.
