Friday, May 13, 2016, a Kurdish rebel PKK has shot down a Turkish military helicopter with a 9K 38 Igla, a lance-surface-to-air missile (anti-aircraft) portable guided by infrared, near the town of Cukurca, Turkey. Two Turkish soldiers were killed.
