PIO card stands for Person of Indian Origin and OCI card for Overseas Citizen of India. PIO card is for NRIs while OCI card is issued to foreign natives. In the process of making PIO or OCI card, OCI card takes more time than PIO card. PIO card offers dual citizenship to NRIs.
