At a dinner in London to support further progressive research in the area of radiation therapy, many people got together to welcome a number of high profile guests to a special evening. Among those that were invited include James Welsh, a prominent academic and researcher, who is currently based at the University of Texas in America. br br At the dinner Dr Welsh presented his latest research findings and also outlined his exciting plans for the future. Welsh has won many awards and also been a member of the American Association for Cancer Research since 2009, a few of his other professional memberships include the American Society of Radiation Oncology, the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group and the Radiological Society of North America. For a number of years now Fahad Al Tamimi has been committed to supporting cancer research programmes and this is the latest in a long line of events he has organised.
