The attacks on Islam's spiritual home of Medina, and others across Saudi Arabia, come as Muslims prepare for the feast this week that marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan. There have been no claims of responsiblity but the Islamic State group has urged its supporters to carry out attacks during the holy month.
