Meet Iron Fist
Well, you did if you were at the panel. In a clip, Iron Fist star Finn Jones introduced – from the series’ set – a teaser for the fourth Defender’s individual series. Fans caught a glimpse of Danny Rand’s tragic beginnings: A shot of young Danny with his mother on a plane shifts to Danny in the snow being taken in by a pair of yellow-and-green clad men – presumably denizens of the mystical K’un-L’un, where Danny eventually trains – that then shifts to shots of the adult Danny strapped to a hospital bed, finally crashing his way out of a wall and out into the open of New York City. In other words, it’s an origin story we’ll have to wait until 2017 to see.
