Japan's Kohei Uchimura successfully defended his gold medal in the men's artistic gymnastics individual all-around event on Wednesday. Uchimura joined teammate Ryohei Kato (who placed 11th) as the only male gymnasts to ever win three Olympic medals in the individual all-around event.
