General Raheel addressing Defence Day ceremony demanding four demands br br RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif said Operation Zarb-e-Azb achieved its objectives; however, he tabled four major demands for abiding peace in the country. br br Addressing Defence Day ceremony at military headquarters, here, he presented the demands in clear-cut terms: br br 1. The National Action Plan should be thoroughly implemented in letter and spirit. br br 2. All loopholes in law and justice system should be removed forthwith. br br 3. A wedge should be driven into the collusion of serious crimes and corruption so that terrorism could be rooted out from the country. br br 4. All institutions of the state should work honestly and wholeheartedly in their stipulated domains.
