The Freedom of the City of Liverpool has been posthumously awarded to the 96 football fans who died at Hillsborough, during a special ceremony at the Town Hall. Medals were also given to the key figures who supported the families for the past 27 years, including former Liverpool FC boss Kenny Dalglish. Report by Laurencev.
