Learn how to make Upvas special Maharashtrian style quick Batatyacha Rassa (Potato Curry) recipe from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani. br br Ingredients: br br 3 Potatoes, chopped br 12 Cup Coconut br 4 Green Chillies br 12 inch Ginger br 2 Cups Water br 3 tbsp Curd br 12 Cup Peanuts, soaked br 1 & 12 tbsp Oil br 1 tsp Cumin Seeds br Rock Salt br Coriander leaves br br Method: br br - First in a mixer grinder add grated fresh coconut, green chillies and ginger. Add little water and grind everything to a paste. Keep this masala paste aside. br - In a pan heat some oil. br - Add cumin seeds, chopped potatoes & peanuts. Mix everything. br - Add the masala paste & rock salt. Mix well. br - Add water and cover it with a lid. Let the potatoes cook properly. br - Then add the curd and coriander leaves. Mix well. br - Again cover it with a lid and let the bhaji simmer for 2 minutes. br - Upvas Batata Rassa is ready to be served.
