The latest BMW M5 (F10M) is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine which replaces the old M5's 5.0-litre V10 unit. This new motor uses twin-turbos to produce an impressive 560 HP of power and a mammoth 680 Nm of torque. Performance is nothing short of insanity, with 0-100 kmhr taking just 4.4 seconds, while 200 kmhr takes 13 seconds. Top speed has been limited to 250 kmhr but the new BMW M5 is capable of easily cracking the 300 kmhr mark. BMW has priced the M5 in India quite expensively, with the on-road Mumbai price exceeding Rs. 1.3 crores.
