Norton Street runs through the centre of the neighbourhood and is lined with fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants. Many Leichhardt residents have Italian heritage –– an influence which is reflected in the suburb’s many businesses and events. Perhaps the biggest event on the local calendar is the Norton Street Italian Festa.
