Xir, gerçek ismi Gökdeniz Karayaka, 16 Aralık 1990 yılında Ankara'da doğdu.Rap müzik ile iç içe büyüyen Xir ilk kaydını 2003 senesinde yaptı. 2000'li yıllarda ilk albüm projesi olan Savaş Meydanı EP'sini yayınladı. Xir, çeşitli Mc'lerin albüm prodüktörlüğünü üstlendi ve Türkiye'nin birçok yerinde sahne aldı. Ankara, İstanbul, İzmir, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Kütahya, Sakarya, Konya ve Antalya sahne aldığı bazı şehirlerdendir. Birçok başarılı Mc ve prodüktörle çalışmaları oldu. Halen İTÜ'de okumaktadır.
