Parts Of Minn., Wis. Could See 8-10 Inches Of Snow\r

Residents across parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin are bracing for a snowstorm that could dump as much as 10 inches of snow in some areas.\r
\r
The National Weather Service says a storm front was moving east from the Dakotas late Saturday. Parts of southeast Minnesota could get 2 to 4 inches overnight, the Twin Cities could see 5 to 7 inches, and areas further north may see 6 to 8 inches.\r

Nearly 100 flights at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport have been canceled.\r

The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a winter storm warning for heavy snow and blowing snow, which is in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday to midnight Sunday.\r
\r
The winter storm watch previously issued is no longer in effect.\r
\r
Snow, heavy at times, will develop over western Wisconsin Saturday night and will continue until Sunday evening. NWS says the system has the potential to drop 5 to 7 inches of snow.\r
