We went in today and Michaels splint was replaced by a hard cast. We go in again at the end of the month for a checkup. The orthopedist said that this is one of the most common breaks and he was surprised none of my other kids had done it. He calls it the skateboard fall because its the break that occurs when you fall forward and use your hands to stop the fall.
