Hello everyone. I did not write this poem but it is a very personal one. br br I used to cut and I hated my life all I wanted to do was to die. I love this poem just because it happened to me I'm just still here.br br The poem's lyrics:br Go to sleep and close your eyes,br And dream of broken butterflies.br That tore their wing against a thorn,br You know the pain that they are borne.br br Silver metal, shine so bright...br Scarlet blood that feels so right.br Dream of that blood trickling down,br And wake up just before you drown.br br The moonlights shining off your tears,br As you bleed out your own worst fears.br So tonight when you start to cry,br Whisper the cutters lullaby:br br Hushabye baby, you're almost dead.br You don't have a pulse, and your pillow is red.br Your family hates you, and your friends let you bleed.br Sleep tight with a knife, cause that's all that you'll need.br br Rockabye baby, broken and scarred.br You didn't know that life would be so hard.br Time to end the pain that you hid so well,br And down will come baby, straight back to hell.
