Over the last seven months 1,700 high rank police officers have been fired in Honduras for supposedly being connected with criminal activities. This week a special investigation commission investigated three police stations in Tegucigalpa. On Monday, more than 300 officers were dismissed, leaving the stations with only 40 of personnel.
