This is a review of the wind-up action backpack accessories. There were four for the Cobra side: the Rope Crosser, Pom-Pom Gun, Mountain Climber and Earth Borer. There were an additional four for the GI Joe team, making 8 released in 1987 altogether. Although it doesn't mention this on the packaging; the toys were made by Tomy under license for Hasbro. They were not popular with fans in their day and the over-produced Action Packs could still be found on store shelves years later.
