How to connect 2 routers on a single lan through wds (wireless distribution system )? br br br *1. make sure you are having a lan connection (internet connection) br br *2. min 2 router needed for wds make one router as a access point (primary router) and another br router as a repeater(secondary router) max router is up to your wish.... br br br br ACESS POINT (my acess point router is tenda n300) br br 1. *connect the lan to the main access point router in the wan port br br 2. open any browser in pc or mobile the default login ip address is 192.168.0.1 (for most of the routers) br pls check back on the router for ip address. br 3. it will ask for username and password (default username = admin and password = admin) br for most routers its is also given in the back of the router br 4. after that it will move on to the next page internet connection setuptype below that click on DHCP br 5. it will automatically connect yout router with lan.... br 6. And select wireless option-wireless security and disable wps option and setup a security key br or password for your router. br 7. *In wireless basic settings -channel and (select any one of the channel) eg: (channel 11) br br br REPEATER(secondary router or range extender my secondary router is tp link TL-WR740N) br br br 1. place the repeater where u need to extend the range of the wifi br 2. switch on the router and connect with it move on to any browser and type the ip 192.168.0.1 br (its the default ip for most router ) br 3. it will ask for username and password (default username = admin and password = admin) br for most routers its is also given in the back of the router br 4. click on wireless-wireless settings -and check mark the Enable wds option br 5. click on survey option -it will move to next window choose the main router (access point router) br and click on connect br 6. select the channel and specify it which you gave at access point . br 7. select wireless security and choose wpawpa2 and type the passwors for secondary router or repeater. br 8*disable the DHCP settings br 9*select network -and choose lan option - click on ip and type ip 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.100 br it will take some time to cofigure new ip wait for it . br 10 it will restart the router now you will connect to both routers depending on the signal strength br both router ip should be accessed with the connected router .... br br br br br br br br br like,share and follow guys if u like my video br br br thank you guys ....
