Trump confronted claims that the Russians may have compromising information about him by repeating that: “It’s all fake news. It’s phony stuff. It didn’t happen.” Trump also said for the first time that he believes Russia was behind hacking ahead of the election. Trump announced his selection of David Shulkin, the current Undersecretary of Health, to become his secretary of Veterans Affairs.
