In the end, only three teams, MIT, Netherlands’ Delft University and Germany’s Technical University earned the right to use the mile-long test track. Delft got the highest overall score, while Technical achieved the fastest speed at 58 mph. MIT placed third overall, but also took home the Safety and Reliability Award.
