The road cuts through and up the Catskill Mountains. Due to the road's dangerous characteristics it is closed during the winter. I grew up a couple miles from where this road begins to ascend up the mountain. I've always been humbled by the beauty in my own back yard. I hiked up the steep road to earn the beautiful view and the rush from the ride down".
