Natarajan comes from a humble background where 3 crore is the sum of dreams. After the auction Natarajan says, "If not a cricketer, I would have become a coolie. His father does similar work while his mother sells meat on the street in the evening. Natarajan is the eldest sibling in the family that hails from a village in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu.
