Learn how to make tasty Sevai Upma recipe from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani. br br Sevai Upma is a delicious, homemade, quick and easy to make breakfast recipe where crispy vermicelli are cooked in urad dal, curry leaves, green chilli and mild spices. br br Ingredients: br br 3 tbsp Ghee br 1 tsp Urad Dal br 1 tsp Chana Dal br 1 tsp Mustard Seeds br 2-3 Green Chillies br 8-10 Curry Leaves br 3 Onions, chopped br 2 tsp Sugar br 1 tsp Ginger paste br 2 Cups Vermicelli br Salt to taste br Coriander Leaves br Water br br Method: br br - In a pan heat some ghee. br - Add urad dal and chana dal. Roast them golden brown. br - Then add mustard seeds, green chillies and curry leaves. Let them splutter. br - Add chopped onions, ginger paste and sugar. Mix everything well. br - Add vermicelli and mix well. br - Add water enough for the vermicelli to cook. br - Add salt and give a stir. br - Cover it with a lid and let the upma cook for 5-7 minutes. br - When the vermicelli is cooked our upma is ready. br - Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve.
