Meredith Dean is an entrepreneur from North Carolina who recently turned her grandparents on to the many pleasures of ride-sharing. Dean shared a March 20 video of her grandmother and grandfather embarking on their first-ever Uber ride.

The video shows the elderly grandparents, Rayburn Dean and Marty Dean, sitting around their Asheville, North Carolina, home, waiting for their driver, Tim, to arrive. “It makes me nervous doing new things,” Marty says at one point. The car pulls up and Rayburn, Marty, and Meredith get in. As they drive away, Rayburn regales the driver with tales of his life.

The grandparents are very happy at the conclusion of the ride. Marty stated that it was just like riding in a personal limousine.
